The bride was from the UK, the groom from Norway – they met in Canada. The church was British, located in Copenhagen. The weather was typically Danish. The guests were from 10 or so other countries. The father-of-the-bride wore a tartan kilt. The getaway car was German. The honeymoon will be in the United States. It was truly the most international wedding I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending, and everything was beautiful! Congratulations Lars and Sally and also to your three adorable little men. xx

Here’s a MEGA-blog post dedicated to a beautiful August wedding – the marriage of Ailish and Bernardo. It was a fabulous day with a wonderful couple, a fun bridal party, funny speeches and happy, smiling people (how often do you see the parents of the bride do an Irish jig up the aisle?)! The threat of getting hit by a golf ball was very real, but we managed to avoid it. And, despite an iffy forecast, even the weather cooperated! Lovely, lovely day – thanks Ailish and Bernardo for having me out to join in the celebrations!

Where to do your wedding photos when getting married in Toronto’s Liberty Village? This super fun bride and groom indulged my ideas of hanging out on loading docks, climbing fire escapes and sitting in parking lots… good thing we started with a good strong cuppa joe! Soooo glad the weather held and was in fact perfect. Jill and Nick, I hope you went on to have a perfect and lovely wedding ceremony and reception – and that you remembered to take off your rings again before making things official!!! I have a tonne of favourite images to share here – Thanks again, Jill and Nick, for a fun afternoon….
