Last photo session of 2010! And I got to shoot in my favourite part of Toronto – where I happen to also live – the Beach. Love the boardwalk, the water, the trees, the air, the light… And it was my pleasure to meet a wonderful family who were all reunited for Christmas time. We spent some time inside then outside – all the while delighted by 1 year old Andrew. Andrew made everyone smile – which was good because none of them succumbed to my attempts to make them laugh with my bad jokes (everyone who knows me knows I only have 2 jokes, both, coincidentally, about fish). I had the pleasure of photographing Kim for headshots for her business (see her website relo-to.ca!). A wonderful and vital service for newcomers to Toronto. I myself know what it’s like to relocate to a new city with a family and only wish I had been able to take advantage the services Kim has to offer! Thanks Kim – our whirlwind session was fun and energized me big time for my following session!!! My favourite is still the streetcar shot!

If you remember a couple of weeks ago I posted a little teaser for Kate’s birthday – now here is the rest. This was a special extended family, grandparents 40th anniversary photo session for our good friends Jeff and Kate. Grandma, Papa, grandkids, moms, dads, cousins, uncles, nieces, sisters, nephews, aunts, brothers, you name it – they were all here! We had a lot of fun and luckily the rain held off and it was the perfect day of mild sun and warm temps. You can see by the photos there was lots of laughing and romping, and a broken, crooked bench to boot. Happy Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. L.!!! Congratulations on 40 years – and a beautiful family!
